INSANITY VS P90X – INSANITY WORKOUT

INSANITY VS P90X – INSANITY WORKOUT

The  Insanity Workout is a 60 day home workout that is divided into 2 phases, each lasts 4 weeks. During the first phase the workouts are between 35 – 40 minutes. You basically do a different workout each day, 6 days a week and on week 4, you do a recovery week which means that the intensity of the workouts will be less in order to give your body a break before you get going on the next 4 week phase.

The Insanity Workout DVD’s are tough. You are really going to get tested in your commitment to lose weight and get in shape here. This is not for those people who are interested in instant gratification type programs or for those who are after magic pill solutions.

BUT… one of the main benefits of Insanity is that regular people like you and me are seeing dramatic results in record time, like dropping 10 pounds or so in the first couple of weeks, for example!

You can skip the rest of this outline and read my Insanity Workout Review here!

It should go without saying however, that the Insanity Workout is going to require your full attention and commitment. I see so many people feel cheated and frustrated when they kinda do the workouts but still eat a diet based on junk food, sodas, drink alcohol on a regular basis and simply are not committed to seeing this program through.

You see, the folks at Beachbody are pretty smart and they have put together great fitness programs and at home workouts: these programs include a very comprehensive nutrition guide, a scientifically based progression to the workouts and a set of tools to provide social support in the form of forums and other online tools.

Insanity VS P90X

If you are doing Insanity Workout or perhaps P90X, you have seen how detailed the Insanity nutrition guide is. Same thing with the P90X diet guide. And yet, most people still think that they can just glance at those and not change their eating habits. After all, working out alone should be enough, right? Wrong!!!

This is a package deal folks! Fitness plus nutrition equals success! Or like many trainers and coaches like to say: “You can not out train a bad diet!”. So if you are new to the Insanity Workout or have been doing it for a few weeks but haven’t seen the results you expected, please ask yourself this: “Am I following the diet plan?” If the answer is “NO”, then please whip out those Insanity diet guides or P90X nutrition booklets and start studying and recommit to your fitness journey. It’s never too late!

Now that we have that out of the way, I also want to mention the importance of proper equipment and supplementation. You see, these workouts: Insanity Workout and P90X Workout, are very intense and they put a great toll on your body. That is why using proper equipment such as the right type of shoes in the case of Shaun T’s Insanity, is paramount, otherwise you risk getting injured.

During the 60 days of the Insanity Workout, you are going to be doing a lot of running in place, lateral jumps, vertical jumps, jumping jacks, etc. And if you are not wearing proper and good quality shoes you can pretty easily roll your ankle or really injure your knees.

Equipment Needed For Insanity workout

The need for very little equipment is what makes Insanity such an appealing program: you just need a little space in front of your TV or computer, a dvd player and the right shoes. There’s no need for pullup stations, weights or resistance bands or yoga mats. It’s you and the floor!

As far as supplements go, I only advice (and have taken) the following: Shakeology, the P90X Recovery drink and a good quality whey protein powder. I strongly advice against diet pills or fat burners. I don’t care what people say, those things are dangerous and why risk potential damage to your liver or worse, when you can simply eat right, right?

In the next few pages, I am going to cover in extensive detail the differences between Insanity vs P90X and will discuss on an exhaustive Insanity Workout Review how many different workout DVD’s you are going to get, what type of documentation and other visual aids, detail the type of equipment or added stuff that you may want to purchase in order to get the most out of your program.

P90X Brief Review

The same will be said for P90X – I will explain what type of workouts those 12 DVD’s are going to get, what you should expect by doing P90X vs Insanity and also the equipment that you are going to need as well as how long it will take to complete each workout.

Finally, by visiting this extensive Insanity Workout Review, you are going to be able to learn as much as you can before making the decision to spend any money on either of these workouts. After all, they cost money and the last thing anyone wants is to waste it on things that may not be for us, correct?

But before I forget, I must let you know that both P90X and Insanity come with a money back guarantee. This means that if you hate it or simply decide that these workouts are not for you, you can just ship them back and get your cash back. And trust me, you will. Beachbody and Team Beachbody are pretty solid companies, with customer service that delivers outstanding service without any run arounds or excuses to scam you!

Oh, and when you get either of these workouts, you are going to be assigned a team Beachbody Coach who will help you with your fitness and nutrition. Your coach is going to be your success partner and will be there for you. Whether you have questions about your diet plan or you want to know how to modify any of the moves within a workout, all you need to do is send them a quick email and they will be prompt to reply. That’s another great reason why to avoid buying Insanity Workout or P9X through Amazon or Craigslist.

Anyway, enough of this and let’s check  my Insanity Workout Review, shall we?
